> delivery to bad access with long/steep carry
> shuttle vehicle, parking permit or lift requirements
> packing/boxing household items ready for loading into truck

acceptance
> acceptance of ballpark estimate by phone or email, with credit card details -
credit card number, expiry date, csc (3-digit) number and name on card
> all charges are from depot to depot
> final invoice is based on actual time taken
access
> when the access is difficult or it is raining or there are some heavy/oversized items e.g. double door fridge - we will send extra men to load and/or unload the truck on waiheke
> the extra labour cost is $85 per hour for 2 extra men
> the loading/unloading then takes less time, is cost effective and minimises exposure of your items to rain etc.
insurance
> all removals are at owner’s risk. this means no compensation will be paid for any losses, damages or shortages. it is acknowledged, agreed, and declared that the contract of carriage is a contract for carriage at owner’s risk. this means that the company as carrier will pay no compensation if the goods are lost or damaged unless the company intentionally loses or damages them.
> we recommend you speak to your house and contents insurance provider
> at waiheke movers, we send most of our invoices to local company te huruhi finance, for payment of invoices
> te huruhi finance will accept payment of invoices, with no added interest, up until the last day of the month following the issue of your invoice.
> after that date, interest is payable at 24% per annum/2% per month
> if payment is not received by te huruhi finance, on our behalf, and the invoice is returned to us for non-payment, we will re-issue the invoice directly to you, including any accrued interest, and apply an administration fee
> if waiheke movers issues the invoice directly to you for payment, the same interest terms and rates apply
